The National Theatre (Uganda National Cultural Centre http://www.ugandanationalculturalcentre.org/) in Kampala opened its doors in 1959. Its archive is a strange collection of photographs of functions, stage performances, communist propaganda that was at some point exhibited in the Theatre and other loosely related material.
