Kigezi region, or photos of personalities and objects from Kigezi that are collated here from our different collections.
Kigezi District once covered what are now Kabale District, Kanungu District, Kisoro District and Rukungiri District, in southwest Uganda.
It is worthy of notice that certain parts of Ntungamo and Bushenyi would be much more Kigezi than their former designation to Ankole, if homogeneity of peoples and topography are guides for territory marking.
Alas, from this little comment we may alight right into the complicated debate of a world with or without borders and what they are made to mean once drawn.
We must digress now.
