Three 4×5 inch negatives, reproducing wire photographs produced by AP photographer Denis Paquin end of July 1985, three days after the coup on President Obote by army general Tito Okello.
Wired photographs were not stable and to be preserved they had to be reproduced. The lines on the prints give away the nature of the prints. It is unknown who produced the reproductions and why. 4×5″ negatives were already relatively rare and expensive in the 1980s, so someone or some publishing house thought these image to be worthy of such an investment.
