Digitalized slides made between 1968 and 1971that are part of Paul Carbone’s archives, and labeled as ‘John Ziegler’s collection’. Paul Carbone was an oncologist who worked for the American National Cancer Institute and was instrumental in the setting up of the Uganda Cancer Institute. The slides were digitalized by Marissa Mika as part of her ongoing research on the history of the UCI and treatment of cancer in East Africa.
